2023 Virtual Training Series

We are excited to announce that Heather Risk, PsyD & Associates is now approved by the American Psychological Association to provide continuing education credits.

To celebrate, we are hosting this series of trainings throughout 2023. These trainings include the topics most requested by trauma therapists in the field on a recent survey conducted by Heather Risk & Associates. We are dedicated to supporting survivors of trauma and the therapists who work with them.

Aimee Mau, MSW, LCSW & Heather Risk, PsyD  –  December 7 & 8 (12-3:15 each day)  –  6 CE  –  $240

Important Information:

  • These workshops expand upon graduate level training and are designed for post-doctoral psychologists and mental health professionals with a masters degree or above in of psychology, social work, counseling, or related fields. Graduate students in these programs are welcome to attend.
  • Participants may attend any number of these workshops, however, one must attend a particular workshop in full to receive credit for that workshop. No partial credit can be given.
  • Fees are nonrefundable 30 days prior to event.
  • The Advanced Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) Trainings are open to therapists who have completed the 2-day (or equivalent) Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Training by an approved trainer. Participants must also have completed, or currently be in the process of completing, their required TF-CBT Consultation Calls with an approved Trainer/ Consultant/ Supervisor. Proof of these requirements will be required to attend these particular workshops.
  • Heather Risk & Associates, PLLC is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. Heather Risk & Associates, PLLC maintains responsibility for this program and its content.
